[Titans/Young Justice Graduation Day #1] This cover is super cool, no? Love the three YJ kids and their respective legacy-type shadows. The only one that doesn’t completely fit is Impulse-Jesse Quick, but it’s close enough that I don’t mind. I love the way the Titans characters are drawn here, with just a few emblems shown. Shows how iconic their designs really are. I also love how hopeful this cover looks. Younger characters going forward toward destiny, older characters becoming legends… That mood doesn’t last, but it is very nice while it was there!

[Young Justice Vol 1 #3] Happy Halloweekend! From now until Monday night, all the posts will be Halloween themed! Start looking forward to skeletons in costumes right now, I tell you what. I am a sucker for sidekicks dressed up as their mentors, especially when the clothes are clearly too big for them. Little things to love: Tim’s bat-bag, Mxyzpltk’s Dr. Evil pose, Bart’s rock, Tim’s :V, Kon’s hair (always Kon’s hair!) Also, check out Kon’ freakishly long arms, freakishly large thighs and Bart’s freakishly big boots. Perspective is a fickle mistress. You know this cover isn’t an accurate portrayal of YJ halloween costumes because Tim would be dressed up as Dick or Jason if it were.

[Young Justice Vol 1 #24] Bart’s grand tradition of trolling cover pages is one of my favorite things about Young Justice. Also, for those of you keeping track in your playbook, Timmy got the gold, Cassie the silver and Kon the bronze in their imaginary cover event. Good for you, Tim! Also, this era of Kon’s fashion sense and general attitude is my favorite. Nice glasses, superdude.  In conclusion, GOLD— —FISH?!
