[Detective Comics Vol 1 #727]

Big bird and little bird, doing birdy bro things.

Gosh, with the reboot, Detective Comics won’t get back to the 700s for like 30 years. 

[Titans/Young Justice Graduation Day #1]

This cover is super cool, no? Love the three YJ kids and their respective legacy-type shadows. The only one that doesn’t completely fit is Impulse-Jesse Quick, but it’s close enough that I don’t mind. I love the way the Titans characters are drawn here, with just a few emblems shown. Shows how iconic their designs really are.

I also love how hopeful this cover looks. Younger characters going forward toward destiny, older characters becoming legends… That mood doesn’t last, but it is very nice while it was there!

[Nightwing Vol 2 #78]

It’s cool that he managed to graft his mask onto his skull like that. Also that a skeleton can have such perfectly lush hair! Also that the uniform isn’t sagging without all the skin and muscle crap getting in the way. It’s as filled as ever!

I actually really like the cartoon-y style here and the sort of reverse halo. Neat!

[Batman and Robin Vol 1 #22]

Have to admit, I mostly love this cover for Damian’s pose. He just looks like such an adorable little assassin baby! And his scowl! Precious. I am filled with love for the grumpy Robin, I admit it. He’s just so tiny and angry!

Additionally, I love the way both of them have their eyes in shadows. The background is pretty nice, too! I like how it is black and white in comparison to the boys being colored in.

[Nightwing Vol 2 #57]

In a shocking twist, Dick Grayson gets tied up! This is a brand new experience for him.

It’s not true Nightwing fanservice, though. True Nightwing fanservice has to include a shot of his ass and/or fingerstripes.

[New Teen Titans Vol. 1 #39]

Possibly the most iconic NTT cover. Seriously, this cover blows my mind. The minimalism is perfect here. I love all the discarded costume bits, especially the ones hanging off the title.

I especially love how Wally’s costume is at least all in the same general area while Dick’s is just all over the place. Holy quick change shenanigans, Batman!
